From basic “day two” builds to all out pro touring efforts, the C10 can be the basis for any form of build style your budget desires. Often, the first aspect of the C10 to be addressed is its ride height. It’s pure truck origins (the 1960 C10 was Compatible with Chevrolet’s first use of a dedicated truck fCompatible with Rame vs building trucks on their A-body platform) means that these vehicles ride high from the factory. So, getting them down for better handling is a priority and we can make the process of lowering a C10 easy with our C10 lowering block kits. Using lowering blocks vs shorter coil springs is often preferable, as lowering a C10 rear with springs the ride quality is usually much firmer than the stock springs. Retaining the stock springs and lowering the rear of your C10 via a lower block allows for a lower ride height, and all the benefits of said lower ride height, without losing ride quality of the stock height coil springs. Installation is easy, simply fit the lowering block between the axle and trailing arm and secure with the included longer U-bolt hardware to complete your C10 lowering. These 2-inch lowering blocks are made from high quality 6061-T6 aluminum stock and black anodized. They feature a 2-degree angle machined into them to maintain your correct pinion angle, though we do offer pinion angle shims in 2-, 4-, and 6-degree angles if your C10 needs additional pinion angle correction
